About Chazown Trekerz

       Background:
Chazowntrekerz is the name of our geocaching team. We don't always geocache all together, but usually most of us are together. Our team was formed just a few days ago, and is the inspiration for this blog. Many of you may not be too impressed by our trips, we don't have 1000 caches logged, and none of us have ever needed to climb a glacier to get to a cache. However eventually we will have a 1000 caches (or atleast 100), and we will definitly have some great stories of bushwhacking after a 5 star cache, and we hope that you will be here to celebrate it with us! Follow us on our blog as we seek to conquer cache after cache. If you are in the Toronto and part of T/\G hopefully we will meet at caching events and you can celebrate with us in person!

      Chazown:
Chazown is a weird word, it's pronounced Khaw-zone, and it is a hebrew word meaning vision or revelation. for more information on why this word is important to us, and important to our caching adventures see our very first post: http://trekerz.blogspot.com/2010/09/chazowntrekerz.html

     Our team:
I am Sampson028. The leader of our fearless team of geocachers.  I have been caching since June 2010 and was introduced to the sport in beautiful British Colombia. Hopefully you find the stories of my first two caching experiences inspiring as it helps to understand how and why this team was formed. http://trekerz.blogspot.com/2010/09/gc12bcf-my-first-geocache.html and http://trekerz.blogspot.com/2010/09/gc1y3k6-gcmy31-inspired.html.
Bigbangboy - the first member of our team and co-created. We thought up the name and decided that we wanted to go nuts with geocaching.
ben4377 - Also there at the inception of chazowntrekerz. BBB and I took him on his first geocaching experience. We did three caches in one day (one of them a multi-cache) and involved us in walking almost 15 kilometers around Scarborough. We could of taken the bus to the different caches, but it was more fun this way.
navG - navG is the best, mostly because he is the one with a vehicle. He can drive us to those caches far away that we dream of going too.
Other members - BBB's sister, and my (sampson028's) wife, are also members of our team. While they don't have their own gc.com profiles we wouldn't dream of not including them in our team.
Mr. Nimoy - This is my dog. He doesn't have a geocaching profile.... but he should.
